RadiOrakel presents a one off, special broadcast from O.J.A.I. (Office for Joint Administrative Intelligence). O.J.A.I. is the collaborative practice of artists Chris Dreier (DE) and Gary Farrelly (IRE/BE). The work is fuelled by recurring obsessions with architecture, infrastructure, conspiracy theory, institutional power and magic. The work m
anifests as sound art, performance, installation, walking tours, publications and a monthly experimental radio show transmitted on Dublin Digital Radio and Cashmere Radio, Berlin.
“Lonely Office” is a radio presentation exploring unloved, neglected and geographically isolated office blocks. The radio show is an experiment envisioning emotional proximity and extreme intimacy with the buildings. Expect spoken words, music, field recordings and found sounds. The show is inspired by Lonely Offices including Liberty Hall in Dublin and The Sister Building in Brussels and the Brutalist masterpiece, Nord-Aurdal Kommun building in Fagernes.
